School of Visual and Performing Arts
Azusa Pacific’s School of Visual and Performing Arts contributes to the College of the Arts by offering students rich artistic experiences and comprehensive training in visual art, cinematic arts, design, and theater arts.
The school comprises the Department of Art, Department of Cinematic Arts, Department of Design, and Department of Theater Arts, which support a variety of undergraduate majors, including Acting for the Stage and Screen, Animation and Visual Effects, Cinematic Arts, Games and Interactive Media, Design Studies, Screenwriting, and a BFA in Art.
At the graduate level, a low-residency MFA program allows visual artists to cultivate their creative vision for practicing art. The school also offers low-residency and online master’s degrees in Art Education and User Experience Design, as well as an online master’s degree in Art History.
The art community supported me, and I grew close with professors who challenged me. I found my voice and my passion that I didn’t realize I had lost—God made me to be an artist for Him.
