Spiritual Life

Building Healthy Spiritual Habits for Life

Spiritual Life at APU exists to experience a move of God on campus that leads to personal and communal spiritual renewal and aligns the lives of APU students with God’s kingdom purposes, equipping them to be lifelong disciples of Jesus. Spiritual Life comprises three offices and a variety of strategic programs that collectively cultivate a vibrant faith in every APU student and activate each student’s God-given gifts, skills, and passions toward local and global community engagement, service, and impact.

Office of Chapel and Pastoral Care

The Office of Chapel and Pastoral Care facilitates spaces for spiritual formation and life transformation in the undergraduate community through the large gatherings of chapel and the smaller, intimate settings of pastoral care and counseling.

Office of Service and Discipleship

The Office of Service and Discipleship equips and empowers APU students to faithfully pursue God and participate in God’s transformative work in the world through intentional service and discipleship opportunities.

Office of Spiritual Life Administration and Operations

The Office of Spiritual Life Administration and Operations supports the Spiritual Life team with marketing, operations and finances, and the facilitation of the Spiritual Life requirements.

Spiritual Life Requirements

Spiritual Life also oversees certain requirements that all undergraduate students must meet in order to graduate. Learn more about these requirements.
