APU Science, Faith, and Culture Lecture: “Critique of the Historical Jesus”

Azusa Pacific University’s Center for Research in Science (CRIS) hosts William Lane Craig, Ph.D., a research professor of philosophy at Biola University’s Talbot School of Theology
in La Mirada, Calif.
WHAT:
Lecture: “Answering B. Ehrman’s Critique of the Historical Jesus”
Craig is an author and editor of more than 30 books, including Assessing the New Testament Evidence for the Historicity of the Resurrection of Jesus and Jesus’ Resurrection: Fact or Figment? Additionally, he has written numerous articles in professional journals including
the Journal for the Study of the New Testament and New Testament Studies.
Craig holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Birmingham, England and
a doctorate in theology from the Ludwig Maximillians Universität-München, Germany.
While at Ludwig, he wrote on the historicity of the resurrection of Jesus.
