Azusa Pacific University's Department of Theater Arts presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. The show runs from October 5-14, with Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances at 7:30 p.m., as well as Saturday matinee shows at 2 p.m. The production takes place in the Warehouse Theater, located on APU’s West Campus, at 701 W. Foothill Blvd. in Azusa. Free parking is available. General admission tickets cost $27, with discounted tickets for senior citizens, children, students, and alumni. A modern take on the classic fairytale, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella entices audiences through its nostalgic tale, lovable characters, and theatrical grandeur. Featuring songs such as “In my Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” viewers are sure to enjoy the sights and sounds that accompany the timeless fairytale. The production is directed by Matthew McCray and choreographed by Michael Milligan.

“This 2013 adaptation of Rogdgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella has all the joy and magic of the original, but adds a contemporary spin and some new characters,” McCray shared. “Our production is a colorful and vibrant take on a timeless story. It’s been so much fun to revisit this enchanting story and lush score.”
