The San Gabriel Tribune highlighted Azusa Pacific University’s new Bachelor of Arts in Games and Interactive Media, which will launch in fall of 2019. The article featured Tim Samoff, MFA, program director.
Consisting of a minimum of 50 units of a core set of gaming courses, this well-rounded curriculum integrates the iterative process of storytelling, game mechanics, art, sound, and more, under the support of faculty-mentors with experience in the video game industry.
This degree opens a wealth of career opportunities in the video game industry, with median incomes of $81,000 and a top salary of $147,000. The San Gabriel Tribune noted the industry displays an upward increasing trend, as technology advances and billions are generated in revenue per year.
