Assistant Professor

Tasha Lowery is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Graduate Nursing Programs. Professor Lowerys academic and research passions lie at the intersection of pediatrics and emergency care. Professor Lowery is engaged in the project phase of an Acute Care Pediatric DNP program at the University of South Alabama. Professor Lowerys doctoral project examines if a standardized tool can help emergency departments better detect non-accidental head trauma in infants. As a Navy veteran and Marine Corps spouse Professor Lowery currently practices in Okinawa, Japan and has interest in veterans issues.
