Steven Brooks, DWS, is a professor, author, and pastor. He has a passion for training, equipping, and mentoring worship leaders with an emphasis on spiritual formation. Brooks teaches at Azusa Pacific University and Gateway Seminary, and serves as a worship pastor in Huntington Beach, California. He is the author of two books, Worship Quest: An Exploration of Worship Leadership (Wipf and Stock, 2015) and Worship Formation: A Call to Embrace Christian Growth in Each Element of the Worship Service (Wipf and Stock, 2020). Brooks also founded and is the executive director of Worship Quest Ministries (www.worshipquest.net), which serves as a resource for worship renewal and spiritual formation in the global Christian church.
