Maurice Limon, MA

Adjunct Professor

Maurice Limon has been the Director of Jazz Bands at Workman High School since 2010. He was the recipient of the 2013 Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year award for the Hacienda La Puente School District. Limon has worked closely with the SCSBOA, CASMEC/CAJ, PCC Tournament of Roses Honor Band, and the HLPUSD Honor jazz bands as a presenter, clinician, director, manager and auditioned.
He was also the 2017 recipient of the SCSBOA’s Rising Star Award. His commercial credits include work with Concord Music Group, Stax, and other independent labels.
