Instructor
Megan Wright earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Education at Azusa Pacific University. Before working in health care, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University and worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Neuropsychology Laboratory of Claire Murphy, PhD and the Biochemistry Protein Design and Engineering Laboratory of John Love, Phd.
Megan Wright previously worked as a surgical oncologist nurse at UC San Diego Health, caring for post-operative patients recovering from colon and rectal surgery, the Whipple procedure, HIPEC treatment, gastrointestinal stromal tumor surgery, prostatectomy, hysterectomy, mastectomy, transverse rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap reconstruction, laryngectomy, mandibulectomy and fibula free flap reconstruction, nephrectomy, cholecystectomy, kidney transplant, and liver transplant.
As a nursing educator, Megan is dedicated to supporting nursing students as they pursue their new careers in nursing.
