Linda Chiang, EdD
Professor Emerita, Division of Teacher Education
Linda H. Chiang, EdD, is a professor emerita of APU’s Division of Teacher Education. She is a lifelong learner whose research interests include culture and learning styles, early childhood special education, and teaching pedagogies. She was a recipient of the Dean’s Accomplished Scholar (2008) and Outstanding Researcher (2010) awards from the School of Education. Her publications, which are in English and Chinese, include Positive Psychology: Implications for Life, Work and Education, 2nd Ed. (Taipei, Psychology Publishers, 2010); and Modernization, Globalization, and Confucianism in Chinese Societies (Praeger, 2002; co-authored with Joseph B. Tamney). She also wrote a monthly column titled “Perfect Schools in an Imperfect World” for a professional journal in Taiwan.
