Biography

Dr. Edwin Romero has over 20 years of experience in higher education. He served at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona for eight years as Academic Advisor, Student Support and Equity Programs, and as a Coordinator in the Office of Student Life and Cultural Centers; and he served for seven years as Coordinator in the Student Life Office of Mt. San Antonio College, before beginning his current role as Coordinator of Student Activities at Norco College in the winter of 2017. He also serves as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Higher Education at Azusa Pacific University and at California State University, Fullerton in the Department of Education.

Through his current role, Dr. Romero has led efforts at Norco College to enhance services to students and encourage their success. He has advised the student government in the initiation of efforts such as the Textbook Loaner Project, the Hotel Voucher Program for housing insecure students, various scholarships, as well as expanded funding and support for student leadership development.
