Biography

Dora Lee, EdD, is the Director of Academic Support and Learning Services at Cal Poly Pomona (CPP). In her role, she is responsible for PolyTransfer, Early Start, FYE, 1st Gen, Learning Resource Center, Bronco Navigators, and the Reading, Advising, & Mentoring Program. In her 20-year career at CPP, Lee has developed and implemented intentional programs and services to support the academic development and achievement of our diverse student population. Lee’s experience has provided her with the ability to provide perspective from the student affairs and academic affairs point of view, along with an expansive network to draw upon to support initiatives. At CPP, she was previously the Associate Registrar, where she oversaw transfer credit, student records, and graduation processes. She has also served as the Coordinator of the Asian and Pacific Islander Student Center and the Senior Coordinator of for Student Life and Cultural Centers, where she collaborated with campus partners to engage the university on complex issues around diversity, inclusion, access and equity. Prior to CPP, Lee worked in academic advising and orientation at Cal State Long Beach.
