With an exemplary reputation for the advancement of educators, the Department of Educational Leadership offers a doctoral program suited to the career goals of both private and public school leaders throughout Southern California.

The department’s leadership program develops graduates of great character who possess the critical-thinking skills that distinguish effective leaders. The three-year EdD in Educational Leadership designed for experienced educators to deepen their professional service. Doctoral students develop the advanced leadership, research, and analytical skills needed to produce results and shape effective learning environments from a practitioner-scholar perspective.

With a commitment to spiritual development, diversity, and community, the department strives to create a cohesive environment where learners engage in analytic inquiry and research.

Bullying remains a pervasive problem in schools, impacting an estimated one in five students, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.

Physical, social, and emotional harm can result from bullying, raising students’ risk of depression, anxiety, self-harm, and even death.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report those who bully others also face a greater risk of substance use and experiencing violence later as teens and adults.
