APU’s Virtual Campus Experience: How to Get Connected
Visiting college campuses is an important part of the college search process. Yet it’s not always possible to visit every campus you would like to explore in person. To help prospective students get to know more about Azusa Pacific University from wherever they are, APU offers a virtual campus experience.

Through the online tour and opportunities for virtual connection, students and families can explore campus offerings and get a glimpse of what it’s like to study at Azusa Pacific, all from the comfort of their own homes.

“As a student trying to decide where you would like to go to school, the virtual experience offers a great way to get to know the campus and community, as well as meet with faculty and students,” said Cory Justus, director of enrollment marketing and communication at APU.

Connect with the APU Campus and Community

APU’s virtual campus experience includes a series of online resources, tours, and events for prospective students and their families. These events are designed to provide helpful information, answer questions, and share insights into life at APU. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from students and faculty about their experiences as well.

  • Self-guided, go-at-your-own-pace virtual tours
  • Live guided tours with an APU student or admissions representative

Each option comes with its own advantages. For instance, Justus noted that the guided tour “combines a 360-degree experience with videos, articles, and photos about the APU campus, experience, community, and outcomes of students,” he said. “And you can gamify your self-guided tour to win a prize by looking for APU pennants.”

Live virtual events include:

  • Inside APU. Ask current APU students questions about what on-campus life is like.
  • Paying for College. Learn about financial aid opportunities, as well as tips for completing your FAFSA.
  • Academic Connect. Discover faculty-led events for your major or department. You can ask questions and get to know potential professors.

Picture Yourself at Azusa Pacific

In addition to academic spaces, the virtual experience allows you to explore areas you might find yourself spending a good amount of time in, including dining venues, sports fields, outdoor spaces, and more.

“Seeing a campus in person or virtually helps you gain that firsthand perspective of classrooms, housing, dining options,” Justus noted. “When you see these spaces and talk to the people, you’re able to dream about your future, who you might meet, friends you’ll make, and experiences you’ll have.”

Visitors can see nearby areas too, such as restaurants, public transportation, and local entertainment options. This way, students can get an idea of what it will be like to study and live at APU, even if you’re unable to visit in person.

Additional Ways to Connect

Looking for other ways to get to know APU? Prospective APU students can also get connected via the ZeeMee app. Current students post regularly to show what life is like on campus. You can interact with other applicants, take a roommate quiz, and celebrate admission once you get accepted.

Additionally, Student Portraits and Meet the Faculty films are a great way to learn about the difference makers who currently call APU home.

A virtual visit can’t completely replace an in-person experience, but with the bountiful resources available inside APU’s virtual campus experience, you can find the information you need to make the best choice for your future.
