Biography

Susan Hall, M.Ed. earned both her undergraduate degree and her master’s degree in education with an emphasis in special education from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her Resource Specialist Certification was completed at California State University Los Angeles. She has been a special educator for over 35 years, working in the classroom with both primary and secondary students with disabilities for over twenty years and as teacher on special assignment for twelve years in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District. She received the Riverside County Site Support Person of the Year for service as Induction Coordinator, literacy coach, and staff developer for areas related to Response to Intervention, Universal Design for Learning and Instructional Pedagogy.

Susan has developed training programs for beginning teachers, substitute teachers, and instructional assistants. She has been a presenter for the California Association of Resource Specialists (CARS+) in the areas of co-teaching and collaboration. Her great passion to facilitate professional development for teachers extends internationally to Lusaka, Zambia, where she has helped begin a Christian school for orphans and vulnerable children and over the course of fifteen annual mission trips, provided essential training and equipping for African educators.
