Robert Martin, PhD, is a professor and the coordinator of the fieldwork/internship program in the Department of School Counseling and School Psychology. He has credentials in school psychology, school counseling, child welfare and attendance, and school social work, is a licensed educational psychologist, and is a diplomate in the American Board of School Neuropsychology. Martin enjoys traveling and is a regular speaker at conferences around the world, recently lecturing in Ireland, Malta, Holland, Greece, Ethiopia, China, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Denmark, Canada, and Kyrgyzstan on topics related to counseling, psychology, and leadership. Martin is also bilingual, speaking English and Spanish, and has worked at Azusa Pacific University since 2001. Prior to that, he was a full-time school psychologist at a local school district and senior adjunct professor at another university.
