For Gregory Kaiser, PhD, a primary professional passion is helping credential candidates learn and practice the essentials of successful teaching, including employing various instructional models, designing standards-based lessons, utilizing a variety of research-based instructional strategies, and assessing student learning to increase teaching and learning effectiveness. A related professional passion is assisting credential candidates with learning and practicing effective classroom management strategies to optimize student learning and create caring and safe classroom communities. Dr. Kaiser is also committed to helping credential candidates learn the essentials of science literacy, including expanding their knowledge of the key concepts and principles of science, science process skills, and science content typically taught in kindergarten through grade eight. As a former elementary school teacher and public school district science mentor teacher, he enjoys helping beginning teacher effectively and confidently instruct kindergarten through eighth grade students in the sciences.
