Don Thorsen, PhD, has taught in the Azusa Pacific Seminary since 1988, teaching in Masters and Doctoral programs. He has published more than twenty books on the topics of Christian theology, church history, ethics, ecumenism, and spirituality. Thorsen has served in editorial positions for Christianity Today, Light and Life, Christian Scholar’s Review, and Aldersgate Press. He has served in ecumenical and interreligious work with the Wesleyan Theological Society, Wesleyan Holiness Connection, and National Council of Churches. Thorsen has traveled to more than one hundred countries, in which he has spoken, taught, or preached in more than twenty of them. He is married to Andrea, and they have three children and four grandchildren.
