Biography

Angela Robles, EdD, has been affiliated with Azusa Pacific University since 2000. She’s a former pitcher for the University of Notre Dame softball team and professional athlete in the Italian National League, and has coached at the NCAA and NAIA levels. Her international sport experience also includes coaching and leading clinics with Athletes in Action and Competitive Edge International in China, Venezuela, and Mexico. In addition to teaching at APU, she is the president and founder of the Forza Institute, LLC, traveling the country consulting with athletic teams and organizations and introducing them to the strengths philosophy. Most recently, she worked with collegiate athletic teams at Harvard, Notre Dame, Washington, Arizona, Kansas, and other NCAA Division I programs. Her depth of knowledge in the CliftonStrengths assessment, combined with her background in sports, has enabled her to pioneer research on strengths-based athletics.
