Established by Ambassador College in 1968 to preserve selected artifacts as a teaching collection to demonstrate the cultural setting in which biblical events took place, the Bible Lands Collection is composed of about 80 items including an ossuary (bone box) from around the time of Jesus, objects from the time of David and Solomon, and a Neolithic bowl, as well as jugs, juglets, jars, pots, oil lamps, pyxis, amphoriskos, and glass from ancient eras such as the Byzantine Period, Roman Period, Persian Period, Iron Age, Bronze Age, and Chalcolithic Age. Azusa Pacific acquired the collection from Ambassador College in 2018.
