Assistant Professor, Department of Kinesiology
Jacob holds a Master’s in Kinesiology: Sport Performance from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology: Health Professions from Azusa Pacific University. Currently a faculty member at Azusa Pacific, he teaches courses such as Biomechanics of Human Movement and Exercise Physiology Lab while mentoring students academically and professionally. With a strong background in personal training and exercise science, Jacob is certified as a NASM corrective exercise specialist and NSCA certified personal trainer. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Strength and Conditioning and is passionate about advancing in the field of kinesiology by integrating teaching, research, and service to prepare students to contribute to the field.
