Food Allergies and Special Dietary Restrictions

Dining Services prides itself on providing high-quality and nutritious cuisine to meet the wide variety of dietary needs within our diverse APU community. We offer support for students with food allergies and specialized dietary requirements. Bon Appétit, our food service provider, can meet with you to discuss food options available in each of our venues. See our website for more information or email [email protected]. Students with highly specific or complex needs should contact our Accessibility and Disability Resources office at [email protected] as soon as possible to learn more about what accommodations are available, and whether these will meet their needs. A required meal plan can be petitioned only for medical reasons. If you have a medical condition that you believe may keep you from maintaining a required meal plan, refer to the steps in Special Dietary Requests (PDF).

1. All incoming students are required to attend Fall Welcome. Students and their family (parents, siblings, and any others attending events to support their APU student) must register online for Fall Welcome. Students attend the event for free, and guests are charged $60 each. The registration fee includes a Fall Welcome T-shirt for each registrant (student and family), activities, campus resources and information, and meals.
