How does this low-residency MFA program work?
The MFA program at Azusa Pacific accommodates the working artist/educator by offering a program that requires students to be on campus for only four consecutive Julys and one weekend in January for three years.
What facilities are available for students’ use during the July residency?
All MFA students have access to the following facilities:
- Mini studio workspaces
- Photography area with darkroom
- Computer and graphics lab with Adobe Suite software, video editing, and production software
- Ceramics area
- Sculpture area with standard power tools
- Welding area
- Printmaking area with large format press
What is the admission deadline?
APU has rolling admissions, but at least one month is needed to process the information. It is best to start the application process as soon as possible to guarantee a place.
The priority admission deadline for summer is March 14. The final deadline for summer is April 25.
