Design studies students have held internships at local design firms as well as internationally renowned corporations such as Facebook, Disney, and Nike. Students have also gained experience at nonprofits such as World Vision, and churches such as The Church at Rancho Bernardo and Fellowship Monrovia. Our students have also leveraged their entrepreneurial spirit and launched successful businesses.

As a comprehensive major, the design studies program provides a solid foundation for engagement in multiple career paths. In addition to preparing students for graduate-level studies in design, the BA in Design Studies also serves as a launching point for future careers or study in business, technology, planning, architecture, and other related fields.
