Biography
Nanci Carol Ruby is an adjunct faculty member in APU’s Department of Theater Arts. In the 2017-18 season, she directed APU's production of Studs Terkel’s *The Good War*. She is an instructor at several universities in the LA area, including Azusa Pacific University and Chapman University. She hails from Chicago where she taught at DePaul University’s Theatre School. As an actress, she has performed on many stages, including The American Theater Company, Apple Tree Theatre, CenterLight Theatre for the Deaf, The Kentucky Opera, and Lexington Shakespeare in the Park. Nanci Carol is a member of the Actors Equity Association and a member of Women in Film, a coalition of industry leaders. She was awarded Woman of Distinction in Orange County for “tremendous and positive impact upon our community through the arts.”
