Azusa Pacific University's Center for Research in Science (CRIS) hosts Miguel Endara, author and philosopher who also teaches at APU and Pierce College. 

WHAT:
Lecture: "Christian Ethics and Sexual Anthropology"

In this lecture, Endara proposes that Matthew 15:18-20 (and other biblical passages) seems to prohibit sex outside of marriage, and he presents a moral argument against extra-marital sex, grounded on reason and on features of our common humanity.

FACTS:
Endrara is a scholar in philosophy, theology, contemporary problems in bioethics, and social and political philosophy. He has taught in several Southern California universities, as well as in Quito, Ecuador, and presented papers at national and international conferences.

Endara earned the Ph.D. in Philosophy from St. Louis University; a Master's in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Master's in Christian Apologetics from Trinity International University. He is co-author of Una introduccion a la Bioetica, to be released in late 2009, in Quito, Ecuador.
