Biography

Marc Kinon, PhD, received the following fellowships/scholarships to attend graduate school: UCR Chancellor’s Distinguished Fellowship, Alpha Lambda Delta Graduate Fellowship, Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation National Competition Scholarship, and the North American Interfraternal Foundation Lloyd G. Balfour Scholarship. While at the University of California, Riverside, Kinon taught 17 sections including group internship, advanced research methods, introductory psychology, statistical procedures, and research procedures, and was named an outstanding teaching assistant by the graduate division in 2012. Kinon has been working as a statistical analyst for the San Bernardino County Probation Department since 2012, and in 2014 earned a Chief’s Award “for commitment, dedicated service, and outstanding performance.” While working for the department, Kinon has taught at California State University, San Bernardino; San Bernardino Valley College; Citrus College; and Azusa Pacific. He has taught a total of 17 courses including Psychological Statistics, Psychology of Social Behavior, Introduction to Psychology, and Personality Psychology. Kinon has presented at many conferences over the years as a member of the Western Psychological Association and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology.
