Regina Chow Trammel, MSW, LCSW, is an assistant professor in Azusa Pacific's Department of Undergraduate Social Work. Before that, she worked since 2005 as a clinical social worker in private practice in the Chicago area, where she treated individuals, families, and groups with a clinical focus that included depression, anxiety, postpartum depression and anxiety, sexual abuse trauma history, job/management issues, and self-injury. Prior to private practice she worked in psychiatric hospital settings at the inpatient and outpatient levels of care, and was a director of the social services department of a behavioral health hospital. Regina also provided case management and in-home therapy for children earlier in her career. She is affiliated with the North American Association of Christian Social Workers, and is a member of the National Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.
