Lynn Raine, MSW, LCSW, is an assistant professor in the Department of Undergraduate Social
Work. Her professional clinical experiences for the past 13 years include social work in micro and macro settings. Raine has provided case management and counseling to children,
youth, and families. She has worked in the areas of domestic violence, teen pregnancy,
school counseling, and women’s mental health issues. Raine also has experience in policy
work, providing legislative advocacy and creating/implementing workplace policies in the
area of domestic violence prevention. She has also served as program coordinator in different
programs, and has experience providing clinical supervision. Her academic experience
includes adjunct teaching in an undergraduate program for human services and a graduate program in marriage and family therapy. She also maintains a private clinical practice.
