Marcia Davis, RN, specializes in pediatric nursing in the area of primary care. Her extensive career in pediatric nursing has spanned children of all ages and a variety of health care settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, private clinics, and schools. After obtaining her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certificate, she concentrated on pediatric outpatient settings, including several years in pediatric orthopedic clinics. While working as a school nurse practitioner, Davis helped develop and manage school-based clinics, which proved to be a great help to working parents. At APU she teaches Nursing Care of Children and Young Adults, and Pharmacology.
