George Evinger Award Given to Outstanding Business Student

AZUSA, Calif. –

Redmond, Wash. resident Megan Klingensmith recently received the George Evinger Award, which includes a cash prize and plaque, by Azusa Pacific University’s School of Business and Management. Klingensmith graduated in May 2008 with a degree in Marketing.

Evinger was a longtime School of Business and Management faculty member. His wife established the award in 1993 in his memory to honor those who best exemplify Evinger and his Christian commitment and dedication. Chosen by the faculty and administration, Klingensmith is honored for her outward dedication to Christianity and academics.

APU’s School of Business and Management offers bachelor’s degrees in business administration, finance, marketing, international business, Web and information technology, and accounting, as well as an Accelerated Degree in Applied Management. In addition, APU offers master’s degrees in business administration, human and organizational development, and organizational management.
