FACTS:
Author and speaker Donald Miller is best known for his New York Times bestseller, Blue Like Jazz, which has been adapted into a movie. He is also founder of The Belmont Foundation, a nonprofit foundation which works to recruit 10,000 mentors through 1,000 churches as an answer to the crisis of fatherlessness in America.

A Million Miles in a Thousand Years, set to release September 22, amusingly and tenderly chronicles Miller’s experience with filmmakers as they edit his life for the movie. He shares the principles storytellers use to make a story meaningful and exciting, as well as how to apply them to real life. Copies will be on sale in APU’s bookstore.

The book tour also features comedian, actress, and author of Angry Conversations with God, Susan Isaacs. Isaacs is an alumnus of The Groundlings Sunday Company and has an MFA in screenwriting from the University of Southern California. Isaacs has guest lectured at Pepperdine University, Orange Coast College, and Santa Monica College and has taught for the Act One Program.
