Ying Hong Jiang’s, PhD, primary research interest is in multi-variate statistical methods, and application of these tools as structural equation modeling and meta-analysis to examine influential factors of opportunities to learn for diverse student populations. Her other interests include Monte Carlo methods to investigate relationships between influential factors and performance of certain statistical parameters, and generalizability, validity, and reliability study of large-scale alternative assessment. Ying is also interested in investigating innovative usage of statistical approaches to evaluating programs within a solid theoretical framework.
