Daniel Guzman, LCSW, MBA, is an assistant professor and field education coordinator in the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program at Azusa Pacific University. He earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from California State University of Los Angeles and was licensed as a clinical social worker in 2012. As a clinician and clinical supervisor, his work focused on low-income youth, families, and adults with severe mental health conditions. As a manager and administrator, Guzman has directed a youth and family mental health clinic servicing 350 clients, an adult clinic servicing more than 700 clients, and in 2017 he earned a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management. As an educator, he is a field liaison for the MSW specialization-year cohort and is the field education coordinator for the BSW program. His professional interests include managerial leadership strategy, performance coaching, and professional faith integration.
