Daniel Farwell, PT, DPT, founded an outpatient orthopedic private practice in Glendale, California, in 1985, and accepted an invitation to join the teaching faculty at the University of Southern California in 1996, earning a master’s and doctorate while teaching. Farwell has been a contributor to the orthopedic and sports residency programs at USC and an instructor for the McConnell Institute, and is a regional director for Special Olympics FUNfitness Evaluation. He has been managing several outpatient clinics since 2007, and is interested in developing wellness and residency programs for Azusa Pacific’s Department of Physical Therapy. His areas of expertise include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and physical therapy administrative policy and procedures, and he has an interest in researching nutritional effects on exercise and rehabilitation.
