Prior to joining the Department of Psychology at Azusa Pacific University as an assistant professor in 2012, Robin D. Blair, Ph.D., taught classes at Pittsburg State University (Pittsburg, Kansas), Crowder College (Webb City, Missouri), and Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, California), and worked as an adjunct professor at APU for four years. Blair has clinical experience in community mental health and hospital settings with a diverse population of clients, and maintains a private practice with individuals who desire personal growth or are experiencing relationship difficulties or symptoms of anxiety and depression. She brings her varied teaching and clinical experience with enthusiasm into the classroom to create an inviting space for students to explore and apply psychological concepts, particularly as they relate to the Christian faith. With a research background in trauma among caregivers in international settings, Blair looks forward to continuing to “help the helpers” at APU and beyond.
