What is City Links?

Vision Statement

City Links aims to build relationships among those who live, learn, work, and grow up in the city of Azusa. This celebration of ongoing service teams Azusa Pacific University and the city of Azusa in service alongside one another. Working with faith communities, schools, parks, and nonprofit organizations, students and community members take action to promote a common care for our neighborhoods.

Event Description

City Links provides an opportunity for first-year students and Azusa community members to serve alongside one another to make an impact in their community. Partnering with churches, non-profit organizations, and city projects, students will serve over the course of four Saturdays that introduce them to the city of Azusa.

Beginning fall 2008, the city of Azusa will coordinate all of the community partners and service projects. The Office of Student Success facilitates the student participation through Beginnings, the first-year seminar class for incoming students. This renewed annual tradition highlights the consistent collaboration among the APU student body and the broader Azusa community.
