Rachel Bodell, M.Sc., is the director of APU’s intensive business- and ministry-oriented European study-abroad program known as L’APEU. Her greatest joy is watching students become empowered, confident, and more energetic about investing in others through business and service. Bodell has been noted for her research interest in the value of ethics and social responsibility, specifically as it relates to luxury fashion brands, and she teaches global marketing, consumer behavior, and principles of marketing. Bodell and her husband are undergraduate APU alumni from 2003, and the adventurous couple tied the knot in Bora Bora, French Polynesia, in 2010. Bodell has more than 15 years of experience ranging from customer service to business development, and has specialized knowledge in marketing and strategy. Her industry expertise includes health care, information technology, cosmetics, and hospitality.
