2007: In her first-ever track & field season, ran a variety of distant events as she developed a running base .. Scored 2 points for Azusa Pacific at the GSAC Championship Meet by finishing seventh in the steeplechase (12:54.81) Posted other season bests of 5:20.44 (1500) and 20:05.30 (5000).
CROSS COUNTRY: In her first-ever cross country season, competed in 6 meets for the Cougars during the fall of 2007 Recorded a 5K best of 19:33 at the Midwest Collegiate in Kenosha, Wis. Helped the Cougars to the GSAC title by finishing as the teams No. 5 runner with a 19:52 Also competed in the NAIA regional (19:44) and national championship (19:58) meets.
HIGH SCHOOL: Did not compete in any sports during her 3-plus years at Faith Bible High in Aloha, Ore. ... Rather spent 5 years as a competitive swimmer for the West Hills Aquatic Team (USA swimming) where she excelled in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke ... A knee injury ended her swimming career.
