THIS YEAR: One of 10 hurdlers on the team, junior Trevor Fulkerson is looking to score for the Cougars in the GSAC Championship Meet Primarily competes in the high hurdles but works the intermediates as well Still relatively new to the sport and is developing in the hurdles.
2008 (sophmoore): Returned to track after a year layoff Posted season hurdle bests of 16.05 (110 highs) and 59.53 (400 intermediates) Competed in the GSAC Championship Meet but did not advance out of the prelims.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football and track & field at Christian High in El Cajon, Calif., from where he graduated in 2006 Competed in track & field just 2 seasons and yet set the school records in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles during his senior campaign Advanced to the CIF finals in both events Also set the school record in the triple jump Was coached by Renee Ross, mother of current Cougar sprinter Mandy Ross Was a 2-way standout in football and was a key member of the Patriots program that advanced to the 2005 CIF championship game Named to the San Diego Union Tribune scholar-athlete team.
