2008 (Freshman): Was successful in a quick adjustment to the collegiate level, playing in 25 of the Cougars' 28 total matches ... Went 15-5 in singles play, with a 5-2 record at the No. 5 position and a 6-3 record at the No. 6 position ... Was part of the Cougars' key doubles tandem with partner Ronald Chow, which collected 18 victories in doubles to lead all of the team's pairs ... Rallied from a 7-6 set deficit and a 4-2 tiebreaker deficit to take a 9-8 doubles win, Azusa Pacific's lone doubles win in a 7-2 loss to NCAA Division I BYU ... Posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles over Kevin Okaski at NCAA Division I Hawaii, 1 of 11 straight-sets singles wins during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Cheyenne Mountain High in Colorado Springs, Colo., playing for head coach Dave Adams ... Was twice named Colorado Springs Athlete of the Year ... As a 2005 sophomore, placed second in Colorado Boys' 4A State Tennis Championship at No. 1 singles.
