Cougar Men’s Soccer Recruiting Information

Welcome to Azusa Pacific Men's Soccer, and thank you for your interest in becoming a Cougar.

  • Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts university with an undergraduate student body of more than 4,000 students.
  • The university is located in Azusa, California, in the Los Angeles area, about 20 miles east of Pasadena against the San Gabriel Mountains.
  • APU plays competitive men's soccer in the NAIA, which has a national playoff system.
  • APU is a member of the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) and has won the conference championship five times.
  • APU has appeared in the NAIA national tournament the last four years and advanced to the finals in the last three years.
  • The Cougars won the 2007 NAIA National Championship.
  • Head Coach Phil Wolf was recently named the 2007 Brine-NAIA Men’s Soccer Coach of the Year.
