Ben Winslow

Arguably the Cougars' finest offensive lineman in recent years, Winslow started the final 34 games of his career, moving into the staring line-up for the last 3 games of his 2005 redshirt freshman season and then never missing another start for the remainder of his career. Winslow started every game but one at tackle (he moved to guard for one start) and proved to be a steadying force as an excellent run-blocker. He received NAIA All-American honorable mention following his 2008 senior season.
A bright player both on and off the field, Winslow was a 2-time NAIA All-Scholar Athlete, earning recognition in 2007 and again in 2008.
Winslow came to Azusa Pacific in the fall of 2004 after putting together an excellent 3-year prep career at Greenville (Ill.) High where he was a 2-time All-South Central East Conference honoree as both an offensive and defensive lineman (only player in school history to be so honored). He was also a 2-time all-area pick and became only the second player in Greenville High history to be named to the all-state team.
The younger brother of Luke Winslow, a record-setting Cougar QB in the early 2000s, Ben graduated from Azusa Pacific in December of 2008 with a bachelor's degree in social science. He plans to enter law school in the spring of 2010. He recently completed a internship with the Riverside County District Attorney's office where he was afforded the opportunity to work on a pair of high-profile cases.
Winslow, 23, is single and resides in Azusa.
