Adrian Magallon

Magallon was a 2-year starter in the Cougar secondary during the 2005 and 2006 seasons, appearing in 20 games and starting the final 19 in a row. He collected 109 tackles (35 solo) in his career to go along with 5 pass deflections and 4 tackles for loss. The lone interception of his career came as a 2006 senior when he thwarted a Humboldt State drive in Azusa Pacific territory late in the first half.
His finest outing as a Cougar came during his 2005 junior campaign when he came off the bench to register a career-high 10 tackles, including 1 for loss, and recovered a fumble that led to a TD in the Cougars' victory over Willamette. That effort vaulted Magallon into a starter's call that he never relinquished the rest of his Cougar career.
Magallon came to Azusa Pacific after a 2-year junior college career at East Los Angeles College where he was a 2-time All-Western States Conference honoree.
He played 3 seasons of high school football at Gabrielino High in San Gabriel, Calif., where he was a 2-time All-Mission Valley pick as a linebacker and running back.
Adrian, whose younger brother Louis is a current member of the Cougar football team, is single. He graduated from Azusa Pacific in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics at Azusa Pacific.
