2007: Made the switch to offense after spending his first season in the Cougar secondary ... Did not have a reception in 5 games he played but did tally 4 tackles, all on special teams.

2006: Came off the bench in 6 games during his 2006 freshman season, serving primarily on the Cougars’ special teams but also seeing some reserve time in the Cougar secondary ... Registered 6 tackles on the season, including 3 vs. Southern Oregon.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 seasons of varsity football for head coach Jeff Williams ... Was a member of 3 Golden League championship teams that went 14-1 in conference play during McLaughlin’s 3 seasons ... As a 2005 senior, named all-league as a wide receiver after tallying 43 catches for 481 yards ... Also selected team defensive MVP with 120 tackles (84 solo) ... During his 2004 junior campaign, earned all-league recognition as a receiver, recording 25 receptions for 280 yards for the 8-3 Falcons ... Also ran 2 seasons of track & field (sprints).

PERSONAL: Born June 20, 1988, in Panorama City, Calif., to Ronald and Lisa McLaughlin ... Has 1 brother (Ron) and a sister (Mariah) ... Wants to go into real estate.
