No. 24 – Donny Lee

THIS YEAR: A shifty and hard-nosed running back, Donny Lee is an experienced back who teams with Alex Peltier, Darnell Dodson, Armon De’Launey, David Kim and Tyler Roach to give the Cougars tremendous depth.
2006: As a 2006 redshirt freshman, earned a key reserve role in the Cougar backfield, playing in the first 5 games before an injury ended his season ... Rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries on the season ... Best showing came at Malone where he rushed for 38 yards on 10 carries and scored a second-quarter TD on 1-yard blast to give the Cougars a 21-0 lead at the time ... Also worked on the special teams unit and returned 5 kickoffs for 101 yards ... Best return was a 28-yarder vs. Whitworth.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Spent his 2005 freshman season at Fullerton (Calif.) College where he greyshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 seasons of varsity football at Southern California power Lutheran High in Orange, Calif. ... As a 2004 senior named all-conference after rushing for 774 yards on 91 carries (8.5 avg.) while scoring 14 TDs for the 13-1 Lancers who won the CIF championship ... Averaged 13.4 yards on 27 punt returns ... Was a teammate of current Cougar Eric Augustine ... Was also a sprinter on the Lutheran High track & field team.
PERSONAL: Born April 12, 1986, in Pomona, Calif., to Don (painting contractor) and Crystal (engineer) Lee ... Has 1 brother (Dylan) and a sister (Brooke) ... Majoring in social work ... Has a lifetime dream of someday surfing the North Shore and pipeline of Hawaii.
