THIS YEAR: A developing receiver, veteran Andrew Kazanjian has plenty of experience in the Cougar system that he can use to his advantage to gain playing time ... Is coming off another good spring ... Considered a possession-type receiver.

2006: Appeared in 7 games during his 2006 sophomore season, primarily on special team where he excelled ... Tallied 6 tackles ... Did make appearances as a reserve receiver but did not have a reception.

2005: Played in 1 game as a 2005 redshirt freshman, appearing briefly in a reserve role in the Cougars’ victory over nationally-ranked Eastern Oregon.

2004: Redshirted his first season at Azusa Pacific.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 2 seasons of varsity football for head coach Bill Malony at San Marino High … Doubled as a wide receiver and defensive back, earning All-Rio Hondo League first team and All-San Gabriel Valley honorable mention recognition for his defensive play as a 2003 senior … As a wide receiver, collected 6 TD receptions during his 2-year varsity career … Also ran 2 seasons of track & field for the Titans.

PERSONAL: Born April 16, 1986, in Pasadena, Calif., to Howard (film producer) and Carol (real estate) Kazanjian … Has 2 brothers (Peter, Noah, who attends Azusa Pacific) … Majoring in cinema.
