Azusa Pacific University has diversified intercollegiate athletic programs for men and women. Women compete in basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field, cross-country, tennis, swimming and diving, waterpolo, and softball as members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Men also hold membership in the NAIA and compete in football, cross-country, soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, and track and field. Azusa Pacific belongs to the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC).
