DSST Testing

DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) are recommended for credit by the American Council on Education (ACE). DSST exams are available to anyone who is seeking college credit outside the classroom, including college students, adult learners, high school students, and military personnel. You will not need to purchase the exam prior to scheduling your exam; you will purchase the exam on the day of your testing appointment.

On the Day of the Exam

Bring a government-issued ID and a credit/debit card to purchase the exam ($85). You will be instructed to put away all of your belongings (including cell phones, calculators, wallets, hats, etc.) in a locker. You will also be recorded while in the testing room.

You will receive an unofficial score at the end of the exam. The score will be sent to your institution 3-4 weeks after your exam date.
